On July 5, 2019, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, made a surprise appearance at a Major League Baseball game in London's Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
They watched the New York Yankees take on the Boston Red Sox, an event that marked Europe's first-ever Major League Baseball game.
Meghan Markle, who had recently given birth to Archie, opted for a black Stella McCartney dress, which she paired with a belt and matching pumps.
However, a closer look at her outfit revealed a hidden detail - a pair of Jennifer Meyer earrings worth $395 (approximately Sh40.5K).
The earrings, made from 18-carat gold with a turquoise inlay, added a splash of color to her outfit.
According to Heather Askinoise, co-founder of Energy Muse, Meghan's choice of turquoise earrings might have been more than just a fashion statement.
"Turquoise is the perfect crystal for a new mom as it is said to bring blessings to those who wear it," Askinoise explained.
The couple attended the game to promote the Duke's Invictus Games Foundation, which is partnered with the event.
Both teams gave the couple baby-sized shirts for their side, including an adorable New York Yankees shirt with Archie's name on the back.
