Published on July 5, 2019, Willy Paul's recent interview with Mpasho.co.ke has left many questioning his commitment to Christian teachings.

According to the singer, he needs a woman in his life but not to settle down with, a stance that contradicts the principles of chastity in many Christian traditions.

Chastity is synonymous with sexual purity and means not having any sexual relations before marriage, as well as fidelity to one's spouse during marriage.

Willy Paul's views on relationships are at odds with the Bible, which warns against desiring a woman's beauty and advises against giving one's strength to women.

Despite this, Willy Paul has branded himself the chief mkunaji, stating, 'You see when I say Mkunaji, I mean Pozee is a mkunaji. I kuna, not a lot of things but one specific thing. I kuna, i gwara.'

He also added, 'I mean when God created Mukunaji and he saw Mkunaji is lonely he brought Eve the mkunwa.'
