On July 2, 2019, Kenyan actress Lupita Nyong'o and American singer Janelle Monae took the stage at London's SSE Wembley Arena, where Monae was performing as part of her Dirty Computer tour.
Monae surprised the audience by announcing the arrival of her 'queen' and special guest Nyong'o, right before bringing her to the stage.
The two stars were seen dancing together, with Nyong'o twerking and Monae spanking her. The Us actress also dry-humped Monae during the performance.
Monae's tweet announcing Nyong'o's arrival on stage read: 'Janelle Monáe just brought out LUPITA FUCKING NYONG’O pic.twitter.com/JaFJgLLqgi '.
Earlier in the month, the two stars had sparked lesbian rumours after sharing photos and videos of themselves getting cozy on social media.
The incident has left online users speculating that the two may be in a romantic relationship, although neither Nyong'o nor Monae has responded to the rumours.
