Kenya Simbas are set to face Uganda in the second leg of the Elgon Cup on Saturday at Kyadondo, Kampala, with a strong squad named by Head Coach Paul Odera.
Among the players named is Kenya Sevens pair Andrew Amonde and Jacob Ojee, who will start at backrow and right wing respectively.
Former Kenya Sevens skipper Amonde will add power to the backrow, while Ojee's pace and experience will be invaluable to the team, according to Odera.
However, KCB skipper Curtis Lilako will start on the bench, with Olago coming in for Kenya Harlequin's Melvin Thairu.
Thairu has been included in the side, but will miss the match due to injury, while five other players are with the Kenya Under-20 team Chipu, which is due to leave for the World Junior Rugby Trophy Championships in Brazil.
Backs coach Albertus Van Buuren will take charge of the team, assisted by director of rugby Thomas Odundo and team manager Fahad Adil.
