AFCON 2019: Musa Mohammed Asks Kenyans for Forgiveness ¶

Musa Mohammed, a key player for Harambee Stars, has apologized to Kenyans for his mistake that led to the team's elimination from the AFCON 2019 tournament.
Senegal defeated Harambee Stars 3-0 in the final match of Group C, eliminating them from the tournament.
According to Mohammed, he made a mistake that allowed Senegal's star player Sadio Mane to score a crucial goal.
"I made a mistake that allowed Sadio Mane to score. I didn't make the right calculations. I would like to ask Kenyans for forgiveness, it's a game mistake. I wouldn't do anything after losing the ball. I believe Kenyans will forgive me and I promise to improve in the next match," Mohammed said in an interview with Goal.com after the team's return from Egypt.
Mohammed, 28, also acknowledged that he learned a lot from the tournament and is ready to take responsibility in the next match.
