On his way back to Kampala from Somalia, Muhoozi Kainerugaba, Uganda's Commander of Land Forces and a potential successor to President Yoweri Museveni, stopped by to visit Kenya President Uhuru Kenyatta.

According to a photo shared by Muhoozi, the two leaders were seen taking a break, dressed in casual wear and smiling at each other. Muhoozi referred to President Kenyatta as his 'big brother' and 'hero'.

The meeting comes at a time when relations between Kenya and Uganda are strained. Kenya had recently banned Deputy President William Ruto from traveling to Uganda, and Uganda had awarded a lucrative oil pipeline business to Tanzania instead of Kenya.

While some Kenyans welcomed the meeting, others expressed skepticism, with some questioning how the two leaders were taking water in the photo, which showed them with dusty shoes and trousers.
