Leaked Details of Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro

Published on July 4, 2019, the first leaks of Huawei's Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro have begun to surface online.

Leaked screen protectors claim to belong to the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro, providing an early look at what Huawei's top-of-the-line flagships for 2019/2020 will be like.

The protective films, if legit, show slim bezels and a screen that curves from edge to edge.

It's unclear why the top of the films is blurred, but it's likely intended to hide something, possibly a notch.

Other rumors have pointed to a 6.71-inch AMOLED display screen that could match the OnePlus 7 Pro refresh rate of 90Hz, a Kirin 985 processor, a 4000mAh battery, reverse wireless charging, and more.

A photo alleged to be the back of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro appeared on China's Weibo, suggesting that the camera module will be round and not square as seen on the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro.

The camera lenses will include a 40MP main unit allied to an 8MP telephoto lens, a 20MP ultra-wide lens, and a ToF sensor.

Given that Huawei is back in business with Google and other U.S. companies, the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro should come preinstalled with EMUI 10 based on Android Q.

Huawei Mate 30 5G in the Works Too

According to a leaked Huawei product roadmap published by Hi-Tech, the Mate 30 series will get 5G variants in December 2019.
