Wambui Kamiru Opens Up After Bob Collymore's Passing

On July 1, 2019, the Kenyan business and art world lost a prominent figure, Bob Collymore, who passed away after a long battle with cancer. His wife, Wambui Kamiru, has now spoken publicly for the first time since his passing.

Writing on her Twitter handle, Wambui Kamiru thanked her followers on social media for their support, saying, "I am overwhelmed by all the love and beautiful messages I have been receiving from you all here."

She added that the outpouring of love and support was a testament to the character of her late husband, saying, "It is a true testament to the character of the special man I was lucky to love."

Wambui Kamiru also expressed her gratitude to those who had reached out to her, saying, "I can't respond to all your messages but know that I have read and received your warmth. Thank you."

Bob Collymore, who was married to Wambui Kamiru since 2016, left behind four children.
