A man from Kericho County, Kenya, has been shunned by his community after he was caught on camera publicly humiliating his poverty-stricken lover.
The incident occurred after the man's business had flourished, and he began to show off his wealth by flaunting his new girlfriend in front of his former lover.
According to reports, the two had a romantic relationship before the man's business took off, and the woman had helped him financially to start his business.
However, after the man's business became successful, he allegedly began to ignore his former lover and started a new relationship with another woman.
When the former lover approached him for the money she had lent him, he was reportedly rude and dismissive, telling her that she was ungrateful and that he would not pay her back.
Despite being warned by his friends to settle the matter amicably, the man allegedly continued to humiliate his former lover, even going so far as to publicly shame her in front of their community.
As a result, the man has been shunned by his community, and his actions have been widely condemned.
