On July 2, 2019, Markets Insider reported that Anheuser-Busch InBev's (AB InBev) Asia-Pacific business was planning to list on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, a move that could raise a staggering $9.8 billion.

As the CEO of AB InBev, Carlos Brito stands to benefit greatly from this IPO. In 2008, Brito received an options grant worth more than €250 million (approximately $469 million in today's dollars), according to the Financial Times. This amount could potentially increase significantly following the IPO.

Carlos Brito, a Brazilian-born executive, is known for being notoriously private. However, his life and career have been subject to scrutiny, particularly in the context of AB InBev's massive IPO.
