The perceived bad blood between the National Assembly and the Senate came to the fore once again.

At the National Assembly, Deputy Speaker Moses Cheboi led the morning sitting, while across town, the Senate spent the better part of its session discussing its relevance.

Majority Leader Adan Duale moved a motion accusing the Senate of overstepping its mandate and duplicating roles that constitutionally belonged to the National Assembly.
