Published on August 24, 2021, Citizen TV news anchor Trevor Ombija has opened up about his greatest heartbreak, saying 'This soul remains of blood only.'
According to Trevor, he is currently healing from a 10-year relationship that lasted for a decade, with the couple breaking up and getting back together multiple times.
'I was badly heartbroken, I'm single, not looking. I need to fix myself first. Everybody deserves the best version of the other person,' Trevor said.
He revealed that he took dowry to his ex-partner's home on December 5, 2015, but she asked him to leave, saying she needed to find herself.
'Nilijaribu kuforce vitu for a while! You know when you are dumped and then you try to insist that you can work it out. Ukiachwa achika. I have accepted and am fixing myself,' Trevor said.
Despite the breakup, Trevor and his ex-partner remain good friends, with Trevor advising against taking drama from a previous relationship into the next one.
'Those weights are heavy. There is no day the gym will say I don't love you anymore. You can count on that and not human beings,' Trevor said.
