On August 23, 2021, Odibets, a prominent betting firm in Kenya, launched a unique partnership with Kelvin Bahati, a renowned artist, to support small-scale businesses through a promo called “Pata Bahati ya biz na Odibets”. The initiative aims to provide a boost to the businesses of lucky betting fanatics.
Under the promo, customers will be required to place at least one jackpot bet on any Odibets Mega jackpot round using a stake of Ksh95. This will automatically enter them into the draw to win Ksh50,000 weekly. All Mega jackpot bets will also be considered as entries in the promotion.
Winners will receive their boost credited to their OdiBets’ accounts, which can be withdrawn via M-Pesa. The promo runs from August 23, 2021, to July 1, 2022.
Speaking during the launch, Bahati expressed his desire to give back to his loyal fans by partnering with Odibets. He stated, “Boosting their businesses and helping them earn a living for themselves will see them through the rest of the year as the promo runs.”
Odibets Marketing Manager Aggrey Sayi highlighted the organization's commitment to supporting young people and small businesses. Since 2019, Odibets has supported over 40,000 young people through its partnerships with the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) to boost their talents. Sayi added that the organization aims to have impacted the lives of more than half a million young people by 2023.
