At just nine months into competing, Joshua Charles has already made a name for himself in the motocross sport. His journey began in December last year, when he was inspired by his friend, also a rider.

Before joining the game, Joshua enjoyed cycling for fun within his neighborhood. However, it was his friend's influence that sparked his interest in motorbikes.

Joshua's father, Carrey Ngini, was amazed by his son's talent and credited his friend with helping identify it. 'We were surprised that Joshua, who had never ridden a motorbike perfectly, rode it with friends in the compound. We would like to thank his friend who helped us identify his talent,' Ngini said.

After buying Joshua a motorbike, he joined other riders at Jamhuri Park and made his debut in a competitive riding event. Despite being a newcomer, he won the new and best upcoming rider award in the Pewi category, an entry-level category in the sport.

Joshua's passion for motocross has become his daily routine, making him feel proud of himself and his talent. He credits Alexander De Zouza and Tai Wahome for nurturing his riding skills.
