Safaricom has announced a system upgrade that will impact several services on August 21-22, 2021. The upgrade is scheduled to take place from 10pm on Saturday, August 21st, to 8 AM on Sunday, August 22nd.
During this period, the following services will be unavailable:
- MPESA purchases
- MPESA payments
However, other services such as calls, data, and SMS will remain available as usual.
It is recommended to check if any of these services may require your attention during this time, especially if you need data bundles, minutes, or have an expiring Home Fibre subscription.
