On August 20, 2021, ODM leader Raila Odinga issued a statement on the Court of Appeal's ruling in the ongoing BBI debate.
According to Raila, the ruling is unlikely to be the final word, and the parties involved will make their own decisions on how to proceed.
He urged BBI supporters to move forward, stating, 'But we feel that we have to move on as the issues involved need to be deliberated upon to the fullest extent.'
Seven judges of the Court of Appeal are currently deliberating on the matter.
