Published on July 2, 2019, a deputy head teacher at Arombo Primary School in Kisumu has been accused of defiling four school-going girls.

On Tuesday, Dan Odhiambo Osok appeared before Ahero Principal Magistrate Patrick Olengo and was remanded until July 8, 2019, when he is expected to take plea.

The prosecution requested more time to investigate the allegations, citing concerns that the accused may interfere with the case since he comes from the same locality as the alleged victims.

Additionally, the prosecution stated that the accused's life was in danger due to the backlash from area residents who were baying for his blood following the accusations.
