On July 2, 2019, a tragic incident shook the Shauri Moyo community in Nairobi when a woman took the law into her own hands and killed her husband by setting their house ablaze.
According to eyewitnesses, the woman poured diesel into the house, took her child, and locked her husband inside before setting the house on fire, resulting in the death of her husband and the destruction of nine other homes.
The woman has been taken into custody at the Shauri Moyo Police Station, while her husband's body was taken to the Kenyatta mortuary for post-mortem examination.
