Bob Collymore, the former CEO of Safaricom, passed away on July 1, 2019, after a long battle with cancer.
His mother, Wambui Kamiru, has arrived in Kenya to pay her last respects to her son.
Collymore was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in 2017 and traveled to the UK for treatment in October of that year.
He returned to Kenya in July 2018 and has been undergoing treatment for the condition since then.
