On a disappointing night for Kenya's national soccer team, Harambee Stars, goalkeeper Patrick Matasi made several crucial saves in their 3-0 loss to Senegal in the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt on Monday, July 1, 2019.

The team, coached by Sebastien Migné, still has a glimmer of hope to make it to the round of 16, depending on the outcome of the group stage matches in groups 'E' and 'F' on Tuesday, July 2, 2019.

Cameroon will face Benin, while Guinea Bissau takes on Ghana in group 'E' games, and Angola will face Mali, with Mauritania taking on Tunisia in group 'F'.

Algeria defeated Tanzania 3-0 in Cairo to top Group 'C' with nine points, while Senegal are runners-up with six points, Kenya is third with three points, and Tanzania ended their campaign pointless.
