On August 19, 2019, President Donald Trump gave American companies a deadline to find alternative suppliers to Huawei, but it seems these talks went well, and the ban has been lifted.

Speaking at a press event at the G20 summit, Trump pointed out that Huawei buys a 'tremendous amount of product' from the U.S. and that the U.S. 'will keep selling that product' to Huawei.

As if regretting the decision to ban Huawei from doing business with American companies, Trump added that 'the (U.S.) companies were not exactly happy that they couldn’t sell' to Huawei.

Back in May, when the trade ban had just been effected, it was revealed that America would be losing a whopping $11 billion worth of Huawei monies if the ban stood.

With the ban lifted, Huawei and American companies are back in business, and it's likely that many people who sold their Huawei phones will be considering buying a new one.
