Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja made a surprise appearance on Ghetto Radio on July 2, 2019, engaging in a heated rap battle with up-and-coming artist C Cipi.
During the morning show, Sakaja called in to speak with Maji Maji and King Kafu, who were interviewing C Cipi at the time.
As part of his rap, Sakaja delivered the lines: "Umekua msanii na hata tenje haushiki…Unauliza mbona kumake haifiki lakini jua baada ya riziki ni faraja na baada ya hawa mafala ni Sakaja."
Aside from the rap battle, Sakaja revealed that he has been working with upcoming artists to help them achieve their dreams.
He announced a weekly challenge where the best-performing artiste receives 20,000 Kenya shillings and has their studio recording sessions paid for.
C Cipi was lucky enough to win a fully paid studio session after taking on Sakaja in the rap battle.
