On July 28th, 2021, NCBA Bank took a significant step towards making home ownership more accessible by launching EasyBuild, a product that provides a one-stop shop for construction solutions.
Through EasyBuild, the lender has partnered with a consortium of service providers, including project managers, architects, interior designers, quantity surveyors, structural engineers, and mechanical and electrical engineers, to support customers in designing and building their dream homes.
Initially, EasyBuild will be available in Nairobi and its environs, including Kiambu, Machakos, and Kajiado's urban areas.
NCBA Bank will offer up to 100 percent financing of the construction cost and defer loan principal repayments for 9 months to support this innovative initiative.
According to Mr. Tirus Mwithiga, Group Retail Banking Director, EasyBuild will create value for all home dreamers by providing a less taxing approach to owning a home.
“NCBA EasyBuild is a transformational and all-inclusive new product. All Kenyans, including those in the Diaspora, now have an opportunity to easily build the home of their dreams,” noted Mr. Mwithiga.
