La La Anthony marked her birthday last week, but her husband Carmelo Anthony was nowhere to be found. He was spotted in Europe on a yacht with model Sara Smiri, sparking rumors of infidelity.
However, La La downplayed the situation, telling People that Carmelo had sent her gifts and posted a heartfelt message on Instagram to wish her a happy birthday.
‘He’s overseas at Fashion Week. He sent me some nice gifts and posted something really nice, so I was appreciative,’ La La said.
Despite Carmelo's absence, La La had a wonderful time with their 12-year-old son Kiyan, who gave her a thoughtful card and spent quality time with her.
La La also celebrated her birthday with her BFF Kim Kardashian, who joined her for a night out in Atlantic City.
On her actual birthday last Tuesday, La La was seen heading out with Kim Kardashian, who was dressed in a black halter mini dress.
La La squeezed into a skintight hot pink latex mini dress as she enjoyed a birthday bash with friends at Premier Nightclub at Borgata in Atlantic City.
La La and Carmelo tied the knot in 2010, but they separated in 2017 due to allegations of his infidelity. However, they confirmed earlier this year that they are still together.
On June 25, Carmelo posted a photo of La La on his Instagram to wish her a happy birthday, writing: ‘Some of the most beautiful things worth having in your life come wrapped in a crown.’
‘Your heart is full of love and affection. Your hands are always caring,’ he added. ‘I am lucky to have you as my wife. HAPPY BORN DAY QUEEN I LOVE YOU @lala.’
