On July 2, 2019, the KCB Karen Masters came to a close at the Karen Country Club, with South Africa's Toto Thimba emerging victorious.

Thimba fought off stiff competition from Portuguese Stephen Pereira to claim the top prize of $23,851 (Sh2.4 million), a testament to his exceptional golfing skills.

Keith Horne, JC Ritchie, Garrick Higo, MJ Viljoen, Thriston Lawrence, and Kenya's Greg Snow also performed well, securing the remaining five slots in the tournament.

"Congratulations are in order to Toto Thimba on winning the KCB Karen Masters. We are delighted that Kenyan golfers have also performed well. As KCB we are looking forward to making this event better in 2020," said KCB Group Chairman Andrew Kairu.

Thimba's impressive performance included an eagle on the par 5 hole two, followed by two birdies in the first nine, carding 65 points on Sunday.
