Published on July 2, 2019, the Kenya Polo Association is in the process of finalizing its women's team to face Zambia in the Kenya International Championships, set to take place at Manyatta Polo Club from July 19-21.

Association chairman Gordon Millar emphasized the importance of the game, stating that the team will be unveiled towards the end of the week to allow the players ample time to prepare.

“That being an important game, the team will be made official soon enough. So far, we have analyzed each player's performance before the arrival of the Zambians,” Millar said.

Meanwhile, Sandstorm emerged as the champions of the Lord Cransworth Cup after defeating Whitecap 5-2 at the Nairobi Polo Club on Sunday.

The team, consisting of Amani Nzomo, Craig Millar, Natasha Tisminieszky, and Silke Hamposon, proved too strong for Omwakwe Arunga, Nick Millar, Kailla Millar, and Godfrey Kitomary.

Additionally, Nairobi Polo Club vice chairman Raphael Nzomo's Whitecap Lite team, comprising Mike Mwirigi, Fred Kambo, and Miranda Romijn, won the Red Bull Trophy, the Division Two Championships, after defeating Four of a Kind 15-14 in the final match of the round-robin 12-chukka three-day match series.
