Former England footballer Paul Gascoigne has sparked a bizarre online feud with American rapper Snoop Dogg after the latter made comments comparing alcohol and drug abuse.
Gascoigne, 47, took to social media to respond to Snoop Dogg's post, which included pictures of him with the caption 'alcohol abuse'. The former Tottenham and Rangers star branded Snoop Dogg's comments 'bang out of order'.
Speaking on ITV's Good Morning Britain, Gascoigne said: "Sometimes I expect it from the English press, but to come from Snoop Dogg… I’m a fan of his as well, I cannot believe it. I tell you what I’ll do, I’ll do a charity boxing match with him, cannabis versus booze, bring it on!"
Gascoigne has experienced well-documented issues with alcoholism but has also shown his dedication to charity work, including playing for Spurs Legends at their new stadium in 2019.
