Heated Exchange Between Harambee Stars Coach and Senegal's Aliou Cisse ¶
Sebastien Migne, the coach of Harambee Stars, and Aliou Cisse, the coach of Senegal, have been involved in a heated exchange of words ahead of their teams' match at the AFCON 2019 finals.
According to reports, Migne made some comments that were perceived as derogatory towards the Senegalese team, saying that they have a lack of intelligence and that his team would easily defeat them.
Cisse, however, was not pleased with Migne's comments and responded by saying that Migne should focus on his own team rather than making negative comments about others.
"Migne anajuaje akili ya Wasenegal?" Cisse asked, questioning Migne's understanding of the Senegalese team's abilities.
"Anajua nini kuhusu wachezaji wetu? Anawezaje kusema kuwa hatuna akili?" Cisse further asked, emphasizing that Migne's comments were unfair and unjustified.
The two coaches have been involved in a war of words ahead of their teams' match, which is scheduled to take place on July 1, 2019, at the 30 June Stadium in Cairo, Egypt.
Kenya and Senegal are both in Group C of the AFCON 2019 finals, with Kenya currently in third place with three points, followed by Senegal in second place with six points, and Algeria in first place with six points.
Algeria defeated Senegal 1-0 in their second match, while Kenya lost to Tanzania 3-0 in their second match.
The match between Kenya and Senegal is expected to be a closely contested one, with both teams looking to secure a spot in the next round of the tournament.
