MLS Under Fire from Zlatan Ibrahimovic

July 1, 2019

LA Galaxy striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has sparked controversy in the Major League Soccer (MLS) after claiming that he has won more titles than the entire league.

The 37-year-old Swedish striker, who joined LA Galaxy from Manchester United in 2018, made the statement in an interview, citing his impressive trophy collection.

With 33 goals in 40 appearances for LA Galaxy, Ibrahimovic has been a key player for the team, which is currently second on the Western Conference table with 31 points from 18 matches.

However, Ibrahimovic's statement has been met with skepticism by some fans and critics, who argue that his claim is exaggerated and not entirely accurate.

"I came here because I have won a lot; I didn't come to relax. That's what I am, not for nothing I have won 33 trophies; I think more than the whole MLS," Ibrahimovic said in an interview with AS.

Despite the controversy surrounding his statement, Ibrahimovic remains confident in his abilities and is expected to shine in the upcoming Cali Clasico match.

With a trophy-laden career spanning multiple leagues and countries, Ibrahimovic has won numerous titles, including four Dutch League titles with Ajax, three Serie A titles with Inter Milan, and a Europa League title with Manchester United.
