Bob Collymore Dies at 61 ¶
Bob Collymore, the CEO of Safaricom, has died at the age of 61. He was found dead at his home in Nairobi on July 1, 2019.
Collymore's death has been met with shock and sadness from across the country, with many Kenyans paying tribute to his memory.
According to reports, Collymore had been preparing for his death and had even planned his funeral, which is set to take place on July 2, 2019.
Collymore is survived by his wife, Wambui Kabiru, and four children.
President Uhuru Kenyatta, Deputy President William Ruto, and ODM leader Raila Odinga have all paid tribute to Collymore's memory.
Collymore will be remembered for his contributions to the country, including his work at Safaricom.
