On July 1, 2019, Bandari's chief executive Edward Oduor clarified the status of their first-choice goalkeeper Farouk Shikalo, who was reportedly set to join Tanzanian giants Yanga.
Shikalo is still under contract with Bandari, with six months remaining on his deal. While the club has not released him, they are open to discussing his possible transfer.
According to Oduor, Bandari plans to hold talks with Yanga on Saturday to discuss the player's potential sale.
Shikalo's future has been the subject of media reports, with some claiming he had already agreed to join Yanga. However, Oduor stated that he was unaware of any agreement between Shikalo and the Tanzanian club.
