Released on July 1, 2019, Annabelle Comes Home is the seventh movie in the Conjuring universe, following The Nun, which received mixed reviews from audiences.

The film is set in the home of Ed and Lorraine Warren, paranormal investigators who leave their daughter in the care of a babysitter. However, things take a turn when the babysitter and her friend stumble upon a room containing some of the world's most haunted and cursed artifacts, leading to a series of terrifying events.

Unfortunately, Annabelle Comes Home relies heavily on jump scares and predictable plot twists, failing to deliver a truly frightening experience. The movie's reliance on these cheap tricks makes it feel formulaic and unoriginal.

With a majority of the movie taking place in the Warren's home, the director and writers struggle to be creative, resulting in a predictable and unengaging storyline.

While fans of horror movies may be disappointed by Annabelle Comes Home, it's not a complete loss. The film's setting and premise offer some potential for scares, but ultimately, it falls short of delivering a truly memorable horror experience.
