Kenya's Harambee Stars will face a wounded Senegal side in the Africa Cup of Nations last Group C encounter on Monday, July 1, 2019, at the 30 June Stadium.
Senegal stunned Tanzania 2-0 in their tournament opener before suffering a 1-0 shock defeat to Algeria in their second group match.
Kenya, on the other hand, lost 2-0 to Algeria before staging a dramatic 3-2 comeback win against neighbours Tanzania to get their AFCON campaign back on track.
Both teams now head into Monday's clash with three points each from their opening two games, making the meeting a do-or-die affair with each side seeking to cart away maximum points to increase their chances of progressing to the knockout stage.
Kenya does not have any injury concerns heading into their final group fixture, but Senegal will miss the services of key players including Salif Sane, midfielder Alfred Ndiaye, and defender Youssouf Sabaly, who picked an injury against Algeria.
The Lions of Teranga will however be boosted with the return of midfielder Idrissa Gana Gueye and Ismaila Sarr, both who missed the 1-0 defeat to the Desert Foxes.
Senegal boasts an impressive head-to-head record against Kenya ahead of the tie, having never conceded a goal against Stars in AFCON in three previous meetings, with Kenya managing a draw and losing twice.
