David Wonder, a former artiste under gospel singer Bahati's EMB records, has confirmed owing the label money following his exit. The confirmation comes amidst a long-standing dispute over unpaid royalties and debts.
According to Wonder, an investment was made during his time at EMB, but the exact amount is unclear due to a lack of documentation. He acknowledged that the duo owes Bahati some money, but refused to disclose the exact figure.
Wonder revealed that the plan is to ensure Bahati recovers the invested amount, with all song rights registered under the label. This means that revenue generated from their songs goes directly to EMB until the debt is settled.
