Published on July 1, 2019, Senegal's Lions of Teranga are gearing up for a crucial match against Kenya's Harambee Stars in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

Striker Sada Thioub has sounded the war drums, stating that losing to Kenya is not an option for his team. 'Losing is not an option. We are just focusing on winning to qualify,' Thioub said.

Senegal and Kenya are both in a tight spot, with the West Africans sitting in second place in Group C on three points, just like Kenya, but with a superior goal difference.

Algeria, who top the group with six points, have already secured a spot in the round of 16, while Tanzania is last with no points and has effectively bid the tournament farewell.

Senegal's coach, Aliou Cisse, has hinted that he will maintain the same lineup that lost to Algeria, citing consistency as the key to success.

Both teams will face off on Monday night at 10pm (Kenyan time) in a match that will determine their fate in the tournament.
