On July 5th, 2019, Embu-based Rindi Group, a leading business entity, will host the first-ever Business Expo, marking a significant milestone in the region's entrepreneurial landscape.

Founded by Wangui Kaweru, Rindi Group has been at the forefront of empowering Youth, Women, and Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in the business sector. The Business Expo is a testament to the company's commitment to creating opportunities for these groups.

According to Wangui Kaweru, the primary objective of the event is to provide a profitable platform for Youth, Women, and PWDs to showcase their various business products, services, talents, and skills.

“They will have a unique, profitable, and affordable platform to showcase their merchandise, skills, and talent as a way of networking to grow their businesses,” Wangui Kaweru said.

The event aims to address the challenges faced by these groups, including limited access to finances, opportunities, and platforms to grow their businesses. By linking the special group business community with financial institutions, the organizers hope to form a formidable entrepreneurship network.

The County Government has been invited to actively engage the special group, sensitize them on the AGPO program, and capacity build them on profitable entrepreneurship. The event promises to be a groundbreaking experience, attracting some of the biggest names in the political and entrepreneurial world, including Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria and Hon. Susan Nyaga.
