Nairobi First Lady Celebrates Adopted Daughter's Graduation

On Saturday, Nairobi County's First Lady Primrose Mbuvi beamed with pride as she celebrated her adopted daughter Janet Kahingi's graduation from Daystar University.

Janet, also known as Janetta Nyamu, graduated with a business diploma, marking a significant milestone in her life.

Primrose Mbuvi, who adopted Janet 13 years ago, took to social media to express her joy and pride in her daughter's achievement.

"It has been an amazing 13 years since I adopted you into this lovely family, congratulations my daughter Janet Kahingi on your graduation with a business diploma," Primrose wrote.

She assured Janet of her unwavering support as she embarks on the next chapter of her life, saying, "However the journey has just begun and ahead of you lies infinite possibilities, I assure you of my full support throughout the journey."

Primrose also acknowledged Janet's influence on her siblings, saying, "If anything, my resolve has been emboldened especially now that you have set the bar for your siblings Sandra, Gift and Baby Satrine Osinya."

Janet responded to her adoptive mother's message, expressing her gratitude and love for the Sonko family.

"All my dreams came true the moment you took me in to be one of your own….love you so much and big thank you for all you do for me …I don’t take it for granted," Janet said.
