Ugandan businesswoman Zari is currently in Kenya, and her visit has sparked excitement among fans. In a recent interview with Mpasho, Akothee revealed that Zari's presence in the country is due to their joint plans for a Women's conference.

According to Akothee, the two women missed their flight to South Africa from Paris and opted for Naivasha instead. The conference, which will be held in Mombasa this August at the English Point Marina, will be hosted by Zari and Akothee.

Speaking about their relationship, Akothee praised Zari's passion as a mother and mentor to young girls, saying, 'We support each other. We clicked from day one. She's a real person with a great personality, she has her life all grounded together.'

Akothee also commended Zari's sense of humor and her ability to take Akothee as she is. The two women are set to share their life experiences with fellow women at the conference, with Akothee stating, 'We're here to show a good example of living a life after a breakdown. We're not here to mold people's lives for we don't know their backgrounds and the nature of their own struggles, we got our struggles together and that keeps us going.'

The Women's conference aims to uplift women's spirits and make them know their worth, with Akothee emphasizing the importance of not succumbing to pity-party mentality. She said, 'Most women succumb to pity-party mentality probably because their ego has been tampered with, to let women know that having children is not the end of the world, and a man saying no to you doesn't mean you are not worthy.'
