On June 30, 2019, a heated online exchange between Miguna Miguna and Moses Kuria left their followers entertained with free comedy on social media.
Miguna Miguna, a Canada-based lawyer, accused Moses Kuria, a Jubilee Party MP, of being one of the 'notorious cartels' in the country who have committed heinous crimes.
Responding to the accusation, Moses Kuria tweeted, 'You will still swear me in. Mimi na Baba. You are just a notary public and a commissioner of oaths for the real men like me and Baba.'
Miguna Miguna fired back, accusing Kuria of having a primitive mind that would 'take five new brains' to reach his level in the legal profession.
However, Kuria challenged Miguna to confine the conversation to the English language and stop using words choreographed in his Dhaluo dialect.
Miguna then got a golden opportunity to hit Kuria below the belt, leaving him dusted in a wave of social media laughs and giggles.
Orangutang, a word Miguna used in his rants, depicts images of apes native to Indonesia and Malaysia and are often found in rain forests, resembling monkeys in appearance.
