On June 30, 2019, a heated argument erupted between singer Bahati and his wife Diana Marua on their reality show.
The argument began when Diana confronted Bahati about firing their PA Emmah, who had exposed his infidelity.
'Imagine I've been fired because of what I told you [Bahati's infidelities],' Emmah had cried to Diana earlier.
Bahati responded by saying Emmah was not qualified for her job, citing that she was not an FBI or CID agent and that he met many fans, implying she couldn't handle the responsibility.
Diana, however, stood her ground, accusing Bahati of having many other women and demanding he reinstate Emmah.
'Go and tell that chic of yours to prepare for you,' Diana told Bahati. 'You have to reinstate Emmah by force and it's final. We're not discussing it anymore.'
Bahati was shocked by his wife's harsh response and suggested she employ Emmah as a househelp instead.
However, Diana was resolute, saying 'From today I've employed her as my PA from today moving forward. Unakuwanga na madharau sana. We're done. Enda ukapikiwe na huyo dem wako!' ('You really look down on people. Go to that chic so that she can cook for you').
