Have you ever found yourself in a heated argument with a loved one, only to regret your words later? It's a common experience that can leave a spiritual wound in your soul.

According to Jesus' teachings in the Sermon on the Mount, even small transgressions like anger can have serious consequences. He said, 'Anyone who is angry with a brother will answer for it...'

Just like a physical wound needs to be cleaned and disinfected to prevent infection, spiritual wounds require attention and healing to prevent further harm.

When examining your conscience and repenting, pay attention to those small transgressions of anger and pride. Learning to say 'I'm sorry' can be a difficult but important step in the healing process.

Remember, the wound hurts Jesus too, because you offend him whenever you offend your neighbor: 'Whatsoever you do to the least of my brothers, so you do unto me.'
