Defending champions Nairobi Water Queens have secured a spot in the finals of this year's Kenya Handball Federation Super Cup after a convincing 41-12 win over MKU-Thika in a match played at Nyayo Stadium on June 29, 2019.
The two-time champions will now face KDF in the finals today, and team coach Jack Herbert is confident of retaining the trophy.
'I am happy we played well today. The girls were in top form and winning by that greater margin is a show of confidence and resilience that we need if we are to defend our title. We are relaxed and ready for the finals,' Herbert said.
Meanwhile, KDF qualified for the finals after edging out National Cereals and Produce Board in a tight score of 28-25.
