Manchester United have announced the signing of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, a 21-year-old England under-21 right back, from Crystal Palace on an initial five-year contract.
The deal, reportedly worth 50 million pounds, was confirmed by the Premier League club on Saturday, June 29, 2019.
Wan-Bissaka, who started 35 Premier League games for Palace last season, expressed his honour at joining Manchester United, saying, "I'm looking forward to starting training with the manager and my new team mates on the pre-season tour."
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer praised Wan-Bissaka, describing him as "one of the best upcoming defenders in the Premier League" with the "right work ethic, talent and mentality to play for Manchester United".
