On Saturday, June 29, 2019, Rwandan national and AFC Leopards defender Soter Kayumba exchanged vows with his love in a civil wedding at the Attorney General's office in Kigali.
The wedding, which was attended by close friends and family, marked a new chapter in the life of the 30-year-old defender, who has been playing for both Sofapaka and AFC Leopards in the Kenyan Premier League.
According to sources, Soter and his wife have known each other for over a decade, and the couple has finally decided to tie the knot.
As a professional footballer, Soter earns approximately Sh150,000 per month, and he has been using his earnings to build a life with his partner.
The couple's wedding photos, which were taken by Nairobi News, show Soter donning a grey suit and white shirt as he exchanges vows with his wife.
After the wedding, Soter returned to Kenya, where he has been on holiday following the end of the Kenyan Premier League season.
As a member of the Rwanda national team, Soter has represented his country in several international matches, including the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
