Kenya's Greg Snow staged a remarkable comeback at the 2019 KCB Karen Masters golf tournament, posting a 6-under-par 66 in the third round at the par 72 Karen Country Club course on June 29, 2019.
After a second-round 2-over-par, Snow's impressive recovery propelled him into contention for the title, with a three-round total of 9-under-par 207. He was tied for eighth place with England's Steve Surry, who also fired a 66 in the third round.
"I tried to control my game today, making sure I hit as many greens as possible and save for the ninth where I dropped a shot, my game was solid," Snow said, appearing more confident than during the first and second rounds.
With the course described as 'very good and fairly easy to score', Snow expressed his optimism for the final round, saying, "I will try and relax tomorrow and see if I will be able to get a good score." He also thanked Johnnie Walker for supporting him and Dismas Indiza for playing in the Masters.
Other notable performances included David Wakhu, who finished two shots behind Snow with a 7-under-par 209, and Dismas Indiza, who fired a 4-under-par 68 with five birdies.
