Published on June 11, 2021, the event marks a significant return to competitive golf in Kenya following disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the Kenya Golf Union (KGU), the resumption of the series follows the issuance of COVID-19 health and safety protocols to guide competitive golf events in the country.

The NCBA Bank Golf Series has already been held at Thika, Vetlab, and Kitale Golf Clubs, with the upcoming event at Sigona Golf Club expected to attract over 200 golfers.

The series will also feature two junior series events targeting upcoming junior golfers aged 6-18 years at Karen Country Club from August 23-24, 2021, and at Muthaiga Golf Club from December 9-10, 2021.
