On June 10, 2021, Jubilee Vice Chairman David Murathe announced his plans to exit the party position, citing the completion of his task to kick out politicians allied to Deputy President William Ruto.
Murate expressed his willingness to leave the party position, stating that the only task remaining was to ensure the DP refrained from the Mt Kenya region.
The announcement comes as the party continues to face internal conflicts and power struggles.
