India's cricket team captain Virat Kohli unveiled the team's new orange-and-dark-blue jersey for their World Cup match against England in Birmingham.

The jersey, which will be worn for the first time in the match against England at Edgbaston, has sparked controversy in India over the team's traditional blue color.

"I quite like it. I think it's right up there. For me it will be an eight (out of 10). Honestly, I am not saying that for the sake of it," Kohli said at his pre-match press conference.

However, Kohli clarified that the new jersey is only for this match and the team will return to their traditional blue color afterwards.

Eight of the 10 nations at the World Cup have an alternate kit in case of a colour clash, and England also wear light blue, hence the switch.
