June 29, 2019, marked a challenging day for Kamene Goro, a popular radio host who had just joined Kiss FM. The court has temporarily stopped him from continuing his morning show.
The court's decision comes after his former employer, NRG, sued him and his colleague Andrew Kibe for leaving without notice. According to the court documents, the two were required to give a month's notice before leaving their jobs.
NRG claimed that Kamene and Andrew had informed them that they would be leaving on June 27, but they actually left on June 30. The company alleged that this was a breach of their employment contract.
In a statement on his Instagram page, Kamene expressed his disappointment and frustration at the situation. He questioned how he would provide for himself and his family, and whether he would be able to continue with his job.
Kamene asked.
