On July 18, Nelson Mandela Day, Zari, the mother of five and estranged wife of Diamond Platnumz, will tie the knot with her new man, King Bae.
Published on June 29, 2019, Zari shared the exciting news during an Instagram live session with fans, where she expressed her hope for a future where Africa will have leaders like Nelson Mandela.
"I'm officially going to get married on Nelson Mandela day which is going to be a beautiful thing and I'm really hoping one day Africa will have five presidents that are like Nelson Mandela," Zari said.
For those who may not know, Nelson Mandela Day is a global call to action that celebrates the idea that each individual has the power to transform the world.
Interestingly, Zari's past is filled with failed relationships, including a previous engagement to Ivan in 2011, which she called off in 2012.
"I was engaged in December 2011 and I called off the wedding in February 2012 and the wedding was to take place in April because I was not ready to settle down," Zari revealed.
As for her relationship with Diamond Platnumz, Zari attributed their breakup to the devil, saying, "Everything was good between me and him [Diamond] until the devil came between us."
